By car from the south:
The Orangery at Settrington is approximately 30 minutes from York and 5 minutes off the A64.
Drive along the A64 towards Scarborough. Pass all the signs to Malton on your left. A little further along the A64 you will see a signpost to SCAGGLETHORPE on your right. Turn right here and drive through the village. The next village is SETTRINGTON. As you approach the village you will see a lane straight ahead (just before a sharp right bend). Drive up this lane which is signposted to the Church and Settrington Estate. At the very end of this lane you will see All Saints Church on the left. The Church Lane gates to the Orangery will be right in front of you. You have arrived at the Orangery.
By car from the north:

Drive along the A64 towards York. Pass through the village of Rillington and then look for a signpost on your left for SCAGGLETHORPE. Turn left here and drive straight through the village. The next village will be SETTRINGTON. As you approach the village you will see a lane straight ahead (before a sharp right bend). Drive up this lane which is signposted to the Church and Settrington Estate. At the very end of this lane you will see All Saints Church on your left. The Church Lane gates to The Orangery will be right in front of you. You have arrived at The Orangery.
By train:
Trains run on the hour into Malton from York and the journey takes 20 minutes. Malton is 10 minutes away from Settrington by car and there are many hotels and B&Bs in this attractive market town.
Trains operate into York from all over country. From London the journey on East Coast trains is normally two hours and the journey from York to Settrington by car is 30 minutes. Allow more time if travelling at rush hour on a Friday evening.
